Pneumatic mold bases are mold base structures that use compressed air as the power source and employ pneumatic cylinders to drive operations such as mold opening and closing, material ejection, material clamping, and core pulling. They are widely used in stamping, injection molding, sheet-metal forming, simple foam molding, packaging, and small-part automated production lines, making them the most common and cost-effective mold-base solution for small- and medium-sized production lines. Pneumatic mold bases feature a simple structure, stable and reliable operation, low maintenance costs, smooth and safe mold opening and closing, and excellent compatibility with various foam-production lines for efficient manufacturing.
Hydraulic mold bases are the preferred solution for high-tonnage, high-precision, continuous, and stable production. Their core advantages include high clamping force, stable pressure retention, smooth operation, and a high degree of automation, which effectively improve product yield, extend mold life, and support large-scale mass production.
Automotive seat mold bases are primarily used for foam molding of automotive seats and serve as the dedicated mold foundations for manufacturing seat cushions, backrests, and other components. They typically feature mechanical or pneumatic actuation and are designed to integrate seamlessly with automated production lines for high-volume manufacturing. With excellent rigidity and high pressure-bearing capacity, they meet the demands of high-pressure foam molding, minimizing deformation. The clamping mechanism ensures stable mold closure, resulting in products free of flash, uniform foaming, and superior seating comfort. Automotive Seat Headrest PIP Production Line
The integrated headrest foaming line consists of the following components: a gyroscopic positioning turntable, a three-axis robotic arm with a hybrid head, a high-pressure foaming machine, and an electrical control system. The turntable production line is used for foaming automotive headrests, armrests, and other similar products; the gyroscopic positioning system ensures precise alignment, thereby guaranteeing the reliability of precision injection molding.
The main production line features a rotary disc layout, enabling the simultaneous loading of dozens of mold sets per cycle and facilitating rapid mold changeover. It supports continuous, takt-based production, delivering high productivity and consistent product quality. The line is versatile enough to handle multiple types of foam products on the same production line, significantly reducing manual intervention, boosting capacity, and ensuring economical and efficient operation.
High-pressure spray foam machine
